Tomorrow night (July 31st), in celebration of the US Open of Surfing 2012 (also see PUSH’s effort) and launch of the Phantom Fuse boardshort, Hurley presents STABILIMENTUM, an immersive new installation from James “Dalek” Marshall (interviewed). The event kicks off from 6-9PM at the Hurley H SPACE Gallery in Costa Mesa with a floor-to-ceiling display from Dalek which recalls his other shows at the gallery (see Prism Break & Psych Optic Black Light Fuzz). In addition to the art itself, the exhibit will feature a display of the Phantom Fuse-inspired product collection created by “friends & family” of the Hurley brand. The product collection is lead by the Nike Free +3 Hurley NRG shoe partnership, a limited-edition sneaker with only 1300 created worldwide.
