Sotheby’s teamed up with Banksy’s, former agent Steve Lazarides from Lazarides gallery, in order to set up an unauthorized retrospective exhibition of works by the internationally renowned artist. Even admitting that the artist would “hate” this show, the gallerist and the curator of the show chose mostly works from the period when they worked together, which will all be available for sale, priced between £4,000 and £500,000..

Fans of elusive British artist will have a chance to see some of his most iconic works in person including sculptures, crude oil paintings, huge stencil works on panels, and limited edition prints. More than 70 works, from his most famous prints such as I can’t believe you morons actually buy this shit, to Warhol-like portraits of Kate Moss, to large original Trolley Hunters, Turf War, Kissing Coppers, etc, the works will be on view from 11 June to 25 July 2014.
