American painter Glennray Tutor (interviewed) released his first ever limited edition print on November 4th, exclusively through Supersonic Art Gallery. Trio (Dreams Can Come True) is a classic example of his recent photorealistic metaphorical paintings that look at dimensions beyond our realization.
Considered to be part of the photorealism art movement, Tutor has been painting almost exclusively still life’s since the 1980s. Composing images with the small commonplace artifacts of daily life, often nostalgic items such as glass jars, bottles, toys, and especially fireworks or marbles, his paintings are immersed with bright colors, light effects and focus on detail. Through these macro images, he is representing the emotions and ideas that constantly affect our two dimensional reality, causing us to fall in love, feel loss or believe.
Trio (Dreams Can Come True) is released as archival pigment print in an edition of 50 on 340 gsm weight cotton rag paper with deckled edges measuring 24″ x 24″, and comes signed and numbered by the artist.
