Last week, AM attended the much anticipated opening of Chinese artist Liu Bolin’s. For his first solo in New York, Liu took the city by the horns as he made the most of the past few weeks with his signature self paint & photography sessions by continuing his iconic Hiding In The City series at some of the Big Apple’s most unique locations such as the 9/11 tribute and Bowery & Houston Mural. The special opening at Eli Klein Fine Art was packed from the beginning as fans enjoyed the extensive photo series held at the dual floor space. After the show, we also had a chance to attend a special dinner held for the artist as we bid him farewell prior to his return to Beijing.
