Last week, Galerie Perrotin paid host to French photographer and street artist JR in their Paris showspace when he displayed a new body of work entitled Encrages. Featuring his outdoor technique translated onto smaller found objects, the exhibition brought together many of the TED prize winner’s previous projects as we talked about in our studio visit leading up to the show.
Of note, Massive Attack paid a surprise visit and delighted the the crowd in front of JR’s giant signature eye. Video of this and more photos after the jump…
