One of the highlights of the Bridge Art Fair was British gallery Opus Art who traveled from the UK to show New York just what they have to offer. Ana Bagayan’s latest show: “Orphan” is set to open Saturday at the renowned Billy Shire Fine Arts. Last night AM attended the opening for Tomokazu Matsuyama’s (interviewed) “Glancing at Twin Peaks” (previewed) opening at Joshua Liner Gallery. The highly anticipated opening for Matzu’s NYC solo drew a packed house. Matzu’s distinctly unique pieces exhibited his signature contemporary flair on traditional subjects. This show continued his use of bold color palettes and contrasting “splashes” that make the pieces leap out at the audience.
