Album Covers: Kris Kuksi x T.I. – “Dime Trap”

Even without the unveiling of album cover for rapper T.I.’s new album thru Kris Kuksi’s social media recently, fans of the sculptor will have recognized the characteristic aesthetic utilized. Dime Trap will feature one of Kuksi’s surreal assemblages, created from found objects, hand sculpted elements, and for the first time, involve 3D modeling. Take a look at more of the details below.. For the fourth edition of Murals In The Market, anamorphic street artist Leon Keer recently finished a piece entitled Urban Colonization. Friday night in Hong Kong, Sam Friedman opened his first solo show in Asia at Over The Influence. Entitled Flesh of the Gods, the American artist unveiled a series of canvases inspired by natural landscapes, which he deconstructs and revises into hazy abstract compositions. Through the use of colorful gradients, Friedman is able to create intriguing hints of caves, light tunnels, beaches, sunsets, and other elements of natural scenery in his works.
