Moving back to the center of the city at the venue Markthalle, their 11th year at Basel Week Switzerland sees the art fair continuing to focus on mainly solo exhibitions from artists at their gallery booths like Mark Stone for The Hole Gallery (seen above). On May 30th, Museu do Côa in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Portugal, opened 1/81, a group show presenting the newest works of some of Portugal’s contemporary and urban artists. Releases: Takashi Murakami x Vans Collaboration

On June 27th, Takashi Murakami will be releasing a collaboration he has been working on with Vans. Utilizing his iconic imagery, the set will include six pairs of Vans Classic Slip-Ons, four skate decks, three tees, and three pairs of slip-ons for your little art collectors out there.
