Patrick Martinez x Kobe Bryant for BlackRainbow Magazine

French magazine BlackRainbow recently unveiled the cover of their latest issue featuring Kobe Bryant on the cover posed with the work of Patrick Martinez in the background. The basketball themed release (limited to 100 copies) can be purchased on BlackRainbow‘s Parisian flagship store and online. In it, Kobe can be seen in front of Martinez’s signature neon works as well as a large painting. SXSW ’15: Tom Sachs

One of the art-related activities while in town for South by Southwest this year is taking advantage of multiple opportunities to enjoy Tom Sachs’ work. Presently at Backslash in Paris (through March 28th) is a show entitled Current from Boris “Delta” Tellegen. The Dutch artist’s second exhibition with the gallery features a collection of work inspired by the movement and unbroken activity the current, whether it be electrical in nature or in the ocean. The geometrical and architecturally inclined pieces on display range from large assemblages to smaller pieces on paper, a good cross section of work from the artist whose roots lie in graffiti. Releases: Kai & Sunny – ‘Leaves of Light’ Screenprint

Kai and Sunny’s latest screenprint edition Leaves Of Light will be available tomorrow, Tuesday March 17th at 2pm GMT. The hand pulled 2 colour screen print on 100% cotton somerset satin 300gsm is 57 x 76 cm (22.4 x 29.9 inches) is released in an edition of 100 signed and stamped by the duo, and is based on a larger scale work from their recent New York exhibition at Jonathan LeVine Gallery. Releases: Von – “Skull 02” Print

Available though the end of today, March 15th (UK time), is a new print from Von (interviewed) entitled Skull 02. The A3 sized release is a timed edition with final run determined by demand and costs £20. Featuring some of the avian motifs that the UK-based artist and illustrator is known for, the imagery flocks together with some flowers just right to form a skull. But it here. Discuss Von here.
