Serpentine Galleries and HENI productions recently teamed up for an exclusive series of limited editions by Gerhard Richter. Based on his Flow paintings which were created by capturing poured enamel paints on a glass surface, these editions are chromatographic prints of high-resolution photographs of the originals, mounted on aluminium. Pace Prints recently unveiled an exhibition of fresh works by New York legend Kenny Scharf. The self-titled show consisted of unique silkscreen prints on which his signature cartoon-like faces were depicted three-dimensionally from painted and sculpted paper pulp. This new technique brings to life another aspect of his classic characters, who already exhibit vivid colors and wild emotions. Entitled Comet Dust & Crystal Shards, this new body of work was created over the span of a calendar year with the focus of seasons as inspiration of each composition. With her surreal touch and unique creative process of blending external and internal influences, Essenhigh again takes our breath away with a stunning series of magical paintings. AM was in attendance for New York-based painter George Condo’s much-anticipated recent opening at Chelsea’s Skarstedt Gallery— his first show in NYC since his amazing retrospective at the New Museum (featured). Arrested Motion was on hand for the Saturday, November 8th opening of “Momentum”, the three person show featuring Mars-1, Oliver Vernon and Damon Soule at Space Gallery in Denver, Colorado. Acclaimed Cuban-American artist, Jorge Rodriguez Gerada has released a truly historic hand finished etching print (limited to 200) based on his iconic Terrestrial Portrait, Out of Many, One, that took The National Mall by storm this past October. The original work commissioned by The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery was a land portrait composed of dozens of American men (of many nationalities) constructed on Americas most treasured plot of land. Releases: James Jean – “Seasons” Print

On November 18th, next Tuesday, starting at 8:00 AM PST, James Jean (interviewed) will be releasing another timed edition. Entitled Seasons, it will have an image size of 22.25 x 37″ and paper size of 24 x 40″, and will cost $200.
