Denmark street artist Armsrock left his mark on Los Angeles while he was in town for “Mostly Memory,” his two-person solo with Elbow-Toe held at Thinkspace (previously covered). The pieces Armsrock put up reminded us why he is one of the most prolific street artists of our time. He has a keen eye that lends to exceptional placement of his pieces. His large paper figures interact with the environments they occupy, be it an alley, on a neighbordhood fence, or a condemned building. Our friends […]

Stephen Sprouse – Artist and Designer

The Louis Vuitton flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City recently received the Stephen Sprouse treatment. The window displays feature neon light installations of Sprouse;s trademark Rose motif to showcase the launch of the brand’s Spring 2009 collection which pays homage to the late fashion designer and artist. Sprouse’s neon Day-Glo Roses really pop against the the subtle pattern of the location’s Takashi Murakami x Vuitton Multicolore wrap treatment (previously covered).
