Setup: Dalek @ Redux Contemporary

As previously reported, Dalek’s (interviewed) show Broken, Beaten, & Buried is scheduled to open tonight at the Redux Contemporary Art Center.Â As you can see, Dalek and his crew are hard at work getting the installations ready for the exhibition.Â We were expecting paintings but didn’t realize they would be prepping the walls as well…can’t wait to see it finished.Â More installation pics after the jump.

Ryden Book Signing @ LA MOCA

Denmark street artist Armsrock left his mark on Los Angeles while he was in town for “Mostly Memory,” his two-person solo with Elbow-Toe held at Thinkspace (previously covered). This Friday marks the opening of ART LA 2009, the New Los Angeles International Contemporary Art Fair, featuring a lineup of sixtyÂ emerging and blue-chip galleries. Intrepid photographer Romanywg recently captured photos of hardworking french street artists C215 and Bruno Leyval getting up near the Cargo Club in London’s East End. The Louis Vuitton flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City recently received the Stephen Sprouse treatment. The window displays feature neon light installations of Sprouse;s trademark Rose motif to showcase the launch of the brand’s Spring 2009 collection which pays homage to the late fashion designer and artist.
