Upcoming: Robert Xavier Burden – “Original Myth” @ Gregorio Escalante Gallery

On Saturday night (January 7th), thousands of hours of hard work by Robert Xavier Burden will culminate in a solo showing at Gregorio Escalante Gallery in Los Angeles. Original Myth will highlight the San Francisco-based artist’s large scale paintings of pop culture icons in elaborate compositions along with some smaller works. Star Wars characters, Thundercats, Batman, Transformers, and other recognizable nostalgic characters fill Burden’s oil paintings, leaving viewers in awe of the beautiful rendering and detail. Upcoming: Dave Kinsey – “Momentary Bliss” @ New Image Art

On January 14th, Dave Kinsey (featured) will be opening a solo show at New Image Art in Los Angeles entitled Momentary Bliss. The new work is heavily influenced by his time in the Sierra Nevada Mountains before relocating back to a downtown Los Angeles studio. Brendan Monroe x Equinox Hollywood Murals

Those who are lucky enough to be able to visit the iconic new Hollywood location of Equinox fitness clubs will be greeted by three new murals from Brendan Monroe (interviewed). Located at 1550 North Vine Street, the gym features three walls painted over with some of the signature abstract and patterned imagery from California-based artist. Releases: Tiffany Bozic – “Flora and Fawn” Print

Painter Tiffany Bozic recently released a new print entitled Flora and Fawn on her webstore. Produced in an edition of 150, the image area of the artwork measures roughly 13.5″ x 18″ with a total size of 16″ X 20″ if the border is included. Basel Week Miami ’16: Andrew Schoultz Skate Park @ Juxtapoz Clubhouse

After bringing you a look at the goodness inside of the Juxtapoz Clubhouse during Basel Week Miami, we now have something else to share from outside that fans enjoyed along with a large mural by Shepard Fairey (covered). Andrew Schoultz spent his time painting his imagery all over a skate park that was a welcome addition to Miami’s Wynwood district.
