If you follow the Graffuturism blog you’re probably aware of its writer and curator – Poesia. Structures: Alex Chinneck – “Minor On The Moon” (London)

After a creative redesign of a building several months ago in London where the facade appeared to be sliding off, Alex Chinneck has revealed his newest project. Minor On The Moon near Blackfriars Bridge in England’s capital turns things upside down with the remix of a 1780s livery stable through which cattle used to be shuttled for river transport. The British artist explains – “I wanted to create an artwork that offered spectacle, but was simultaneously subtle and by using the material and architectural language of the district the […]

Contests / Releases: Nick Walker – TMA Hong Kong / “Basking in the Glory”

Fans of Nick Walker (interviewed) can always count on two things – intricate stencil work and the iconic The Morning After (TMA) series where his signature “Vandal” runs amuck “beautifying” some of the most prominent cities around the globe. After two years, Nick finally makes good with his promise to release this as a 15 color silkscreen. Created in […]

Overall, Miami Project was well-attended, and both galleries and collectors seemed very enthusiastic about the showing. Below is a […]

Publications: Viral Art by RJ Rushmore

Viral Art is the latest venture from Vandalog editor RJ Rushmore. Taking the form of a free e-book, the publication analyses how graffiti and street art has been communicated from the early days of trading photos, zines and physical books to the social media explosion of recent times. As it was written by someone who has immersed himself in the internet world of graffiti and street art throughout his young years, the book should make for an interesting read.
