Os Gemeos x Hennessy – VS Cognac Bottle Launch (New York)

Last Thursday marked the official launch of Hennessy’s latest VS Cognac bottle created by famed Brazilian artists Os Gemeos (featured). This marks their third successful artist collaboration following up previous designs by esteemed artists Futura (covered) & KAWS (covered). Upcoming: Andrew Schoultz – “New Work” @ Morgan Lehman Gallery

On September 5th, Andrew Schoultz will be opening his third solo show with Morgan Lehman Gallery in New York entitled simply New Work. Seen in this new series of paintings are motifs and imagery that we have come to expect from the San Francisco-based artist including ships, horses, and frenetic patterns enhanced with his mixed media use of US currency. Streets: The London Police (Kentucky)

Recently, The London Police paid a visit to Covington, Kentucky for a public works project arranged by the BLDG gallery. The duo painted their iconic LADS characters alongside buildings and inside local business, leaving a trail of art for fans to follow. Streets: Kenny Scharf (Los Angeles)

After opening his show at Honor Fraser (covered) in Los Angeles as well as painting on the cars of his lucky fans in the area, Kenny Scharf (interviewed) returned to New York where he continued improving vehicles with his signature imagery. He seems to get around, as he was back in the City of Angels last week to create a new mural (arranged by Branded Arts) in Culver City. After tipping you off last week to the fact that JR’s (interviewed) photobooth truck was in Los Angeles, we headed by for a look ourselves. The mobile photo units have been traveling the US (and the world) of late, spreading the French photographer and street artist’s Inside Out love.
