On Friday, October 16 (6-8pm), Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in New York will be opening the first solo exhibition with the gallery by Know Hope aka Addam Yekutieli. Empathy will be featuring the works by the Israeli artist from his ongoing project previously seen in Tel Aviv (covered). This year’s Moniker Art Fair 2015 in London will be hosting the premiere UK solo exhibition of Bom.K, organized by MYA gallery. L’imprévisible Imaginaire will include the newest paintings by one of the founding members of the DMV crew. Streets: JR / Nuit Blanche (Toronto)

Earlier this month, this year’s Scotiabank Nuit Blanche opened up to the public in Toronto. One of the participating artists this year is French photogapher JR (interviewed) with several projects to engage his fans in Canada. Showing: “El Mac: Aerosol Exalted” @ Colorado Springs Fine Art Center

Currently at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center, El Mac: Aerosol Exalted is showing through January 10th. The new pieces in the exhibition highlights El Mac’s signature technique with the fat cap, double line ripples that radiate out from his imagery creating an almost calligraphic effect. Included are some older pieces he finished up that were collaborations with fellow Los Angeles-base artist RETNA. Streets: Faith47 (New York)

Earlier this week, Faith47 finished a mural in East Harlem on the corner of 103 Street and Madison Avenue entitled Estamos Todos Los Que Cabemos, a part of MonumentArt, presented by the La Marqueta Retoña initiative. Streets: Alexis Diaz, DALeast, Borondo / Lodz Walls (Poland)

Recently in Poland, Alexis Diaz (seen above), DALeast, and Borondo stopped by to paint some murals in the city of Lodz. Curated by Michał Bieżyński, the new works for Lodz Murals are a continuation of a public arts program for the third largest city in the country. Releases: Nick Walker – “The Last Ride” Print

Nick Walker (interviewed) will have a new print entitled The Last Ride on sale on Monday, the 12th October, at 3.30pm DST UK time. The print was inspired by a portrait by Butterfly featuring the UK artist in his signature vandal outfit riding a carousel horse next to the Eiffel Tower during a visit to the French capital. Produced in an edition of 150 on Somerset Satin 410 gms and sized at 66cm x 96 cm, it will be available for £400 online from the UK-based artist’s website. Upcoming: Dabs Myla – “Before and Further” Popup (Los Angeles)

Coming up on October 18th, Dabs Myla will be unveiling an ambitious exhibition in the stand-alone 1930 built Spanish Revival workplace building, located on the Modernica factory property in Los Angeles. The husband and wife duo will takeoff the entire space, interior and exterior, with their paintings, sculptures, installations and exclusive furnishings from limited-edition fiberglass shell chairs and hand painted ceramics to custom-built lighting installations.
