Seattle based artist Mike Leavitt is opening up his show “Don’t Stop Object Shopping” in New York at the Fuse Gallery on March 21st. UK artist Hush’s latest solo show, “Hymn to beauty” (teased), kicks off on March 5th at Carmichael Gallery in LA. In between finishing up the body of work and nabbing 6 hours sleep over 3 days, Hush welcomed AM to his studio to take a look at the work in progress, where we did a little interview with him. Natalia Fabia’s show at Corey Helford “Hooker DreamEscapes” is opening tomorrow (Feb 21st) in the Culver City art district. If you remember, we were quite intrigued with Jin Young Yu’s transparent sculptures that were displayed at the Pulse Fair at Art Basel Miami last year. We were lucky enough to be able to interview her because of the efforts of AM friend Stella Im Hultberg (interviewed), who provided the translation for the Korean sculptor as well as added some questions of her own. “Magic Tricks” is the latest solo exhibition from Australian-born painter and street artist Anthony Lister. His two-person show withÂ Craola (previewed/interviewed) opens February 5th at Fifty24SF.
