The new body of work, “Fashionable Aftertaste Without End,” moves to a new focus into the magical world of “Kawaii” (cute in Japanese). Rome’s Dorothy Circus Gallery and New York’s Jonathan Levine Gallery have joined forces to bring together some of the biggest names in the new contemporary scene for a museum exhibition in Italy entitled “Pop Surrealism”. New York will be wishing Michael De Feo Bon Voyage this week as “The Flower Guy” prepares to open his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. This past Saturday marked the opening of Barry McGee and Clare Rojas’ exhibition “Leave It Alone” & “Together At Last” (respectively) at the Bolinas Museum. The quaint community in northern California landed a double-stack of works featuring both iconic artists. We last saw the dynamic duo showing together last spring at New Image Art and this time the latest exhibition was indeed museum-worthy.
