Emma Tooth first caught AM’s eye nearly a couple of years ago with a showing at Bohemia Gallery in York. A simple drive past the gallery, where one of the paintings from her “Consilium Plebis” series was displayed in the window and BOOM, we were hooked. After recent news that the Miami-based artist collaborative, Friends with You, customized a Rolls Royce for N.E.R.D., the trio have now released a music video for “Hot-n-Fun” featuring the said car as well as imagery from the artists scattered throughout the video. Friends With You also recently participated in the Wish Come True Festival during Luminato in Toronto, Ontario which included a pretty awesome outdoor installation. LACMA Purchases Tony Smith “Smoke” Sculpture

Those who have visited LACMA the past couple of years have seen and walked around Tony Smith’s monumental sculpture Smoke. The space that it inhabits in the Ahmanson Pavilion was actually redesigned (by Renzo Piano) specifically for the work. It would be unimaginable to think of the museum without the piece.
