Video/Preview: Logan Hicks & Broken Crow – “Broken Horse” Exhibition

Stencil sensations Logan Hicks and Broken Crow (Mike Fitzsimmons & John Grider) took some time do an interview with AM for their upcoming “drive-by” show “Broken Horse.” The much anticipatedÂ urban stencilÂ show will be held inÂ an awesome venue that was once the Hamilton Savings & Loan in Brooklyn, opening tomorrow, May 1st, from 7-11pm. Keep in mind that this show will only be up through the weekend, so be sure to check it out before it closes Sunday. Check out the preview pictures after the jump.

JosÃ© ParlÃ¡â€™s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, â€œReading Through Seeing,â€ (teased) opens on May 14th at Oos Botos Gallery in Hong Kong. Our friends over at Nucleus Gallery just sent over some more preview pics from their street fighter tribute show opening this Saturday, April 25 including this gem from Luke Chueh entitled “‘Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightening Kick).” With many of us spending countless hours of our youth perfecting the moves for our favorite fighters, this show will definitely be nostalgic. Buy low, sell high… guess Steve Lazarides sees the recent economic downturnÂ as an opportunity to make some moves. The marquee urban art gallery from London has been busy in 2009. Old school London mainstay Andipa Gallery is going to the streets and holding an exhibition of Banksy’s rare works on canvas. Guess it’s time the old money flexed it’s muscles and showcased some choice secondary market pieces from one of United Kingdom’s finest.
