Releases: Neck Face x Guilty Parties Apparel Collection

The nasty one, Neck Face (interviewed), recently released a new line of clothing with Guilty Parties of Japan featuring his provocative imagery. Ranging from t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, to Hawaiian shirts, all the different designs can be seen at a special release party coming up in Tokyo on September 9th. Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) recently announced the release of a sculpture from Silent Stage entitled Beyond The Sea. The limited edition (run of 25) resin sculpt from the Los Angeles-based artist is based on one of his surreal paintings (see below) and measures 21″H x 19″D x 13″W. Tomorrow (August 30th) at 8am PST, Mark Ryden (interviewed) will be releasing the 1st printing of his Micro Portfolio 7 – The Gay 90’s Exhibition through Porterhouse. The 24 oversized (9″ x 6″) postcards includes paintings and drawings from The Gay 90’s Olde Tyme Art Show (covered) and The Gay Nineties West (covered). Releases: Jim Houser – “Sidewalk Hymn” Print

Sidewalk Hymn is a new print released by Jim Houser through 1xRUN. The standard edition comes in a run of 40 and costs $65 whereas the hand-embellished edition comes in a run of 15 and costs $150. Measuring 24 x 18 inches, the prints are signed and numbered, have a COA included, and having framing as an option. Releases: Rod Luff – “Afterglow” Print

The People’s Print Shop recently released a new limited edition from Rod Luff entitled Afterglow. Available in a signed and numbered run of 30, the image from the Sydney-based artist is taken from his piece from the recent Moleskin V group show which he co-curated. A few months after completing a mural with this same image in Bodo, Norway, Rustam Qbic recently announced a new hand finished print release through Unframed Editions. After School screen prints will be released on Tuesday, August 23rd at 6pm London time (1pm New-York) in two editions. Releases: Luke Chueh Hand Painted Masks

On August 22nd, Luke Chueh (interviewed) will be releasing several variations of a mask based on his iconic sad bear character. Set to be available through 1xRUN, they were created and hand painted personally by the Los Angeles-based artist while in Detroit for a show (covered) at Inner State Gallery earlier this year. Recently, Paul Kasmin Shop released a set of three New Kawela surfboards designed by Erik Parker, hand shaped by Rockaway legend Joe Falcone for Pilgrim Surf + Supply and glassed by Sean Brewer. Offered in three different shapes (Egg Shape Single Fin, Rocket Fish, and Micro Fish), each limited edition board is custom made and will cost $3500.
