After a few months since they first mentioned their upcoming intaglio etching editions, Ukrainian art duo Interesni Kazki has just announced the release of these long awaited prints. After introducing his collaboration with Pretty In Plastic at his last show (covered) in Los Angeles, Luke Chueh (featured) has revealed another image of his new art toy – Bitch. Like the Jack sculpture seen in that exhibition, this latest figure is based on a sculpt from Pretty In Plastic, and in this instance will be produced by Munky King. Next Tuesday, April 15th (at a random time between 11 am and 1 pm EDT), El Mac will be releasing a new five color screenprint through Yves Laroche entitled The Humble and Sublime. The image is based on a painting from 2010, and will come in a run of 40, be sized at 29 x 21 inches, and cost $350. Releases: Jeff Soto – “Seeker Friends Elements: Life” Print

Earlier this year, we introduced you to the Seeker Friends Elements series from Jeff Soto (interviewed). A continuation of his Seeker Friends prints, the set of nine total timed editions will have a new addition, Life, on Thursday at noon PST, and will be available for 24 hours until noon PST on Friday after which no more will be sold. Sized at 6″ x 6″ on sustainable plywood, the new print will be available for $30 at the aforementioned time at Prints On Wood. Discuss Jeff Soto here.

Over the weekend, the Known Gallery in Los Angeles hosted the opening for an exhibition from Dennis Morris, a UK-based photographer especially known for his work in the music industry. This particular showing focuses on his iconic shots of Bob Marley, a seminal period of time in his young career when he toured with the Jamaican singer-songwriter. As we previously mentioned, Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic is releasing a limited edition of hand finished prints on the 3rd of April via GraffitiPrints. Several examples of these prints were exhibited at his current solo show in Barcelona (covered), with the rest is available later this week online. After recently releasing limited edition t-shirts in collaboration with Space Invader, Faile and Shepard Fairey, BNE is continuing the Artists 4 Water effort with another major artist. On World Water Day, Saturday, March 22 at 12 Noon PST, there will apparently be a collaborative release from Banksy (although no official confirmation yet) on BNE.org. It looks like Shepard Fairey (featured) has created a new print as a tribute to Ai Weiwei ahead of the Chinese artist’s show opening soon at the Brooklyn Museum. The portrait is created with Shep’s signature style and features a gash on the activist-artist’s scalp alluding to his time in the Chinese police’s hands back in 2010.
