Whitney Announces 2010 Biennial Picks

Video: Pablo Picasso – “Guernica” in 3D

Just yesterday, we showed you Ron English’s mural homage to Pablo Picasso’s Guernica for the Primary Flight project during Art Basel Week. Video: Basel Week Miami ’09 – Aaron Young Creative Process

Aaron Young was in Miami for the final stop of the Stages exhibition (more on that later) and also the “It Ain’t Fair” (covered) show at OHWOW Gallery. Releases: VNA 10 x D*Face Limited Edition

The VNA release party is slotted for tonight in London at StolenSpace (6-9pm) for issue 10. In a continuing effort to increase European-Japanese artistic relations, the non-profit modern performing art organization, Original Cultures, has just released their latest project starring visual artists Will Barras (UK), Ericailcane (IT) and DEM (IT), as well as musical artists Om Unit (UK), Tatsuki (JP) and Tayone (IT). Over the course of four days last June in Bologna, these six artists collaborated, albeit separately, on the visual and musical aspects of this video.
