One month since his series of works were revealed in Jungle refugee camp in Calais, Banksy just created a new piece in London. Discovered earlier today on the French embassy, the stenciled image features a girl from Les Misérables, tearing up as CS gas flows over her. Showing: Marcel Dzama & Raymond Pettibon – “Forgetting the Hand” @ David Zwirner Gallery

Currently at the 533 West 19th Street location of David Zwirner in New York, collaborative works collectively entitled Forgetting the Hand by Marcel Dzama and Raymond Pettibon are on display. This is the first time the two locally-based artists have worked together and their modified exquisite corpse technique of swapping a series of drawings to work on where part of what the other person did is concealed leads to some interesting results. Releases: Futura x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II collection

Starting next month, the Futura Chuck Taylor All Star II collection from Converse will be releasing at specialty retailers, Converse stores and online at Converse.com. This project with the NY graffiti legend will be the first artist collaboration with the redesigned Chuck Taylor All Star from the American shoe company.
