Upcoming: Daniel Arsham – “Remember the Future” @ CAC Cincinnati

Coming up on March 20th at the CAC Cincinnati, the New York-based Daniel Arsham will be opening a show entitled Remember the Future. For his first major exhibition in Ohio, the artist known for his sculptural works created with an architectural mindset, will “respond in unique ways to the scale, light and structure of the CAC building.” Discuss Daniel Arsham here.

Danish photographer Søren Solkær is set to launch a series worldwide exhibitions in conjunction with the release of his latest book. Surface is the definitive portrait anthology of some of the most significant street artists in practice today. Dabs Myla Create New MTV Movie Awards Logo

With the 2015 MTV Movie Awards set to go live on April 12th, the television channel has revealed the new logo designed by Dabs Myla. You may remember that last year, KAWS was tapped work with the VMA’s, so it’s not surprise that they have continued hiring on talented artists that their viewers can relate too. Openings: Kenny Scharf – “Born Again” @ Honor Fraser Gallery

Over the weekend, Honor Fraser Gallery in Culver City presented new works from Kenny Scharf (interviewed) collectively entitled Born Again. The latest solo from the American painter includes a diverse sampling of his oeuvre including new pieces on reclaimed artwork, assemblages, videos and collages, as well as an installation. POW! WOW! ’15 / Streets: SABER X Kevin Ancell

The amazing roster this year for POW! WOW! Hawaii (more coverage here) also included legendary LA writer SABER (interviewed) and RVCA advocate Kevin Ancell. The MSK-affiliated SABER contributed a volcano and some of the figurative imagery rendered with amazing spray can control while the Bay Area-based Ancell (who also opened an exhibition that week) added his script and some other elements.
