Streets: Os Gemeos (Vancouver) – Final

After roughly three weeks of intense work, Os Gemeos recently finished their new mural for the Vancouver Biennale (Part I, Part II). The six large silos they painted on Granville Island continues their ongoing series of large murals titled Giants, and is now officially their biggest one to date. Covering the entire 70-foot (21 metre) tall structure, this incredible piece of work is their contribution to Biennale’s strong connection with sculpture. Today in London, the public opening of Adam Neate’s (interviewed) newest solo at Elms Lester will allow fans of the UK-based artist to see the further evolution of his “dimensional” style. His first selling solo in the England since 2012 (covered) will hopefully include more iterations of his head shot portraits as well as development of his textured and almost sculptural full scale works. Releases: David Choe – “Snowman Monkey BBQ” Book

Tomorrow (September 5th) at 3:00 pm PST, David Choe (featured) will be releasing a new hardcover book entitled Snowman Monkey BBQ, the same name as his museum show in Mexico last year (covered). Mehdi Ghadyanloo is known to international street art lovers for the murals he has been painting around Tehran. So far, he has created over 100 surrealistic murals around the city, brightening up the streets with his witty concepts that play with depth and perspective. On August 22nd, he opened a debut show at Galleri GEO in Norway titled Mirage of Redemption.
