This past Saturday, Subliminal Projects presented the second installment of their “Park Life” series. Curated by Studio Number One, this latest body of work revolves around the theme of “The New Utopia,” which presents each artists’ individual representations of a perfect society. AM took a look at Christie’s Summer Post-War and Contemporary Art auctions, taking place tonight, June 30, and tomorrow, July 1, and found a few pieces we would love to put in our collection. Thank goodness more and more auction houses are using the term “Post-War” for what is no longer “Contemporary” art. Let’s hope the galleries and art fairs start to do the same. Coachella-based artist duo the Date Farmers collaborated with the N.A.S.A (North America South America) project on a music video that premiered earlier this week. Entitled “A Volta,” the video featuring Sizzla, Amanda Blank, Love Foxxx definitely had the Mexican-American vibe going with the Date Farmer’s iconic robots creating havoc.Â Check out the behind the scenes details at Boing Boing.
