An intriguing show that recently ended in Detroit at the Library Street Collective featured new works from Kelsey Brookes. Collectively entitled Sleep: The Science and the Mystery, the new paintings from the former biochemist are constructed painstakingly with colorful patterns that in an abstract way define chemical and molecular structures. This particular set of mesmerizing works from the San Diego area based artist focused on Acetylcholine, Histamine, Norepinephrine and GABA, four neurotransmitters which help regulate sleep. Releases: Josh Keyes x Tiny Showcase – “Sleeping Woods” Print

Earlier today, Josh Keyes (interviewed) released a new print through Tiny Showcase continuing their long collaborative history together (2014, 2013, 2012, 2010). Entitled Sleeping Woods, the new edition has an image area of 14″ x 8.4″ and total size of 15″ x 9.5″ including the border.
