On Friday night, AM attended Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth where KAWS unveiled his latest show in the Lone Star state. The exhibition entitled Focus:KAWS is a mix of color and monotone works from the Brooklyn based artist including a previous series of tondos which made its way from this year’s Armory. Currently on show at the Guggenheim in New York until January 22nd is a can’t-be-missed retrospective from Maurizo Cattelan. Basel Week Miami ’11: Mark Moore Gallery @ PULSE

One of our favorite booths this year during Art Basel Week in Miami was from the Mark Moore Gallery in Los Angeles. Some of the works featured included the intricate wood works from Kenichi Yokono, the thick and textured paintings from Allison Schulnik (whose video we just shared with you yesterday), the kinetic stylings of Andrew Schoultz, the crowd shot watercolors from David Rathman, and the hyperrealistic portraits from Yigel Ozeri.
