Basel Week Miami ’16 / Upcoming: Jose Parla – “Roots” @ YoungArts Jewel Box

Another must-see show to add to your Basel Week Miami itinerary is Jose Parla’s site specific installation at the YoungArts Jewel Box (2100 Biscayne Boulevard). Entitled Roots, the commissioned paintings and sculpture are part of the Rolls-Royce art program and will see the Brooklyn-based Cuban-American artist’s return to the locale of his formative years in the 1980s and early 90s.
