Mary Mary Gallery in Glasgow is currently showing Honest Espionage, a solo show by Emily Mae Smith. Opened on April 8th and staying on view through May 28th, this is probably most important presentation by the Brooklyn-based artist since her last solo in NYC or being included in Unrealism, organized by Jeffrey Deitch and Larry Gagosian during Basel Week Miami 2015 (covered). After a first look at the latest Igloo Hong funded project from David Choe (featured) in Morocco, we now have some more photos to share with you from the the trip. Granted creative freedom, El Mac, Andrew Hem, Mars-1, Aaron Horkey, and DVS-1 all did their best work getting up on whatever walls they could find, whether it be solo or with a collaborative effort. Icelandic conceptual artist and abstract painter Katrin Fridriks (covered) returns to Lazarides Rathbone in London for a new solo exhibition entitled Macrocosm. Ruttkowski;68 in Cologne, Germany is currently showing I can’t look at your face anymore, a solo by Pieter Janssen aka Parra. For his second exhibition with the gallery, the Dutch artist, illustrator and designer created an all new body of work consisting of canvases, sculptures and objects.
