The city of bridges (Venice is located on 117 small connected islands), is currently hosting a very unique group exhibition titled Bridges of Graffiti. Following his recent print release (see here), French-American artist Sowat, member of the French graffiti crew DMV or Da Mental Vaporz, is opening his solo exhibition at Richard & Lefeuvre Gallery in Geneva on the 23rd of April. Streets: Usugrow (Marrakech)

Last month, the facade of the well known Cafe Des Epices in Marrakech, Morocco was painted over with the street calligraphy of Usugrow. Curated by Valerie Liais du Rocher of Studio IWA with support from Upper Playground, the Japanese artist left his mark in the heart of the Medina at in Rahba Kedima spice square covering one side of the rooftop structure with his signature script. POW! WOW! ’15 / Streets: SABER X Kevin Ancell

The amazing roster this year for POW! WOW! Hawaii (more coverage here) also included legendary LA writer SABER (interviewed) and RVCA advocate Kevin Ancell. The MSK-affiliated SABER contributed a volcano and some of the figurative imagery rendered with amazing spray can control while the Bay Area-based Ancell (who also opened an exhibition that week) added his script and some other elements. POW! WOW! ’15 / Openings: RVCA #ThePod @ Modern Honolulu

On February 13th, the day before the official closing of POW! WOW! Hawaii 2015 (more coverage here), one of the main partners of the event, RVCA, organized an interesting show at Modern Honolulu, curated by PM Tenore. The visitors had a chance to see the collection of surfboards that surfing superstar Kelly Slater and RVCA artist Kevin Ancell collaborated on. Streets: SatOne x Roid x Wow123 (Germany)

Toward the end of last year, artists SatOne, Roid and Wow123 come together to work on a epic wall in Bremen, Germany. Entitled World Made of Plastic, the mural was painted as part of “A Dream – Mural Art Project” in Lüssumer Heide 36, Bremen Nord – blending their styles together nicely. Streets: Greg “Craola” Simkins x Lyte (Redondo Beach)

After a successful showing that opened last month in Los Angeles (covered), Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) went back to his roots recently and painted something on the streets of Redondo Beach. Collaborating with Lyte, a fellow crew member from CBS/WAI, the duo beautified the wall with their letterforms while throwing out a shout out to 2SHAE in the process.
