Previews: “Moleskin V” @ Spoke Art

On April 7th, the fifth edition of the moleskin group show will be opening at Spoke Art in San Francisco. Moleskin V is curated by gallery owner Ken Harman and Sydney-based artist Rod Luff and features artworks created directly onto the ubiquitous moleskin sketchbooks that are commonly used by artists around the world. Halloween is barely over and Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) is already looking to Thanksgiving, or did he just combine both? The Gobbler is a 20″ x 20″ print just released by the Los Angeles-based artist and is a fine example of his surrealistic artistic vision.
