Releases: Masakatsu Sashie – “Blind” Print

Fans of Masakatsu Sashie may be interested to know that Dynamo Editions has just released a print featuring his signature imagery earlier today. Entitled Blind, the image chosen features one of the Japanese artist’s floating globes of man-made objects and structures. Releases: SHOK-1 // “X-Fly” Prints

British artist SHOK-1 recently released a series of X-Fly prints with Fruit, Bluebottle, and Fire variations. Mimicking his characteristic freehand x-ray spray technique from the streets, each of them are sized at 66 x 44 cm, limited to an edition of 50, and cost £140.00 with a discount if you buy all three as a set. The British artist further explains – “Like graffiti, flies are often perceived in a negative way but they can be very beautiful.” Discuss SHOK-1 here.

Releases: James Jean – “Adrift” Print

Starting November 17th at 8:00 AM PST, James Jean (interviewed) will be offering a new print entitled Adrift on his webstore for 24 hours only. The image is taken from the massive piece he painted for the Masterworks show in Long Beach (covered), which he also used the cover of his new book Pareidolia. Releases: Miaz Brothers – “Lady T” & “Old Master #11” @ Lazarides Editions

After a successful show with the Lazarides Rathbone in May this year (covered), the Miaz Brothers are set to release two limited edition prints with Lazarides Editions. Based on the pieces shown at the Dematerialized: A New Contemporary Vision show, Lady T and Old Master #11 were recently recently produced and signed by the Italian artists. Halloween is barely over and Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) is already looking to Thanksgiving, or did he just combine both? The Gobbler is a 20″ x 20″ print just released by the Los Angeles-based artist and is a fine example of his surrealistic artistic vision. Releases: Nettie Wakefield Prints

Nettie Wakefield recently released three new limited prints of her pencil and ink drawings, available in a very low edition of only 10. Best known for her series of reverse portraits that were included in Banksy’s Dismaland (covered), the London-based artist started drawing strangers in tube stations after her Masters degree a few years ago and still enjoys doing them. Releases: Sail – “Sagari” Print

Recently, Sail (featured) released a new print entitled Sagari online through Out Of Step Arts. The image was taken from a piece the Pacific Northwest-based artist contributed to the 4th Annual Supersonic Invitational Show. The painting was inspired by the ghost of horses left to die where they fall with the spirit caught in the trees as it rises from the body as referred to by the title. James Marshall aka Dalek (interviewed) recently released a 38 color handpulled silkscreen through Dynamo Editions. Untitled 101 comes with a paper size of 26 inches by 26 inches and an image size of 24 1/2 inches x 24 1/2 inches and was produced in an edition size of 50.
