Releases: Kozyndan // Pangeaseed – “Celestial Bodies” Print

Continuing their partnership with Pangeaseed, artistic duo Kozyndan recently released a new print entitled Celestial Bodies. Their love for the oceans is well known, so this this whimsical piece revisiting their riff on the narwhal is a perfect project to collaborate on with the for-benefit company trying to help to save the seas through ocean-inspired art. Gris1, a member of the infamous DMV crew from France, recently opened his Mixité Sociale solo at Galerie Artistik Rezo in Paris on the 13th of January. The show includes an elaborate installation created in the gallery space, along with several large canvases, ink drawings on paper, and limited edition lithographs. On January 26th, James Jean (interviewed) will be celebrating Chinese New Year a little early with the release of the Year of the Monkey print. The signed and numbered time-limited edition will be available available for one hour only, starting at 8:00 AM PST. Fans of Charlie Immer’s work can now purchase The Funk Of 40,000 Years, a print just released through 1xRUN. The image is taken from Lyric 3, a show last year at the Inner State Gallery that was musically themed and curated by Glenn Barr. Immer was inspired by the song Thriller by Michael Jackson to paint this piece and included one of his signature skeletons painted in his characteristic style. Earlier this year, we shared with you the special project that the New York Times Magazine collaborated on with JR (interviewed) for their Walking New York issue. That cover that resulted from that endeavor has now been released by the French “photograffeur” as a 8 color lithograph through Social Animals. Currently on offer from Tiny Showcase is a new print from Josh Keyes (interviewed) entitled The Cleaner. The 8 x 10″ time limited edition will be available through November 31st, 12 pm Eastern Time. Releases: Jeremy Geddes – “Foundation” Print

On December 3rd, starting at 5 pm (Eastern Time), Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be offering up a timed release print for only 24 hours. Entitled Foundation, the image features one of the Australian painter’s iconic floating astronauts rendered beautifully and reaching for some branches and a skull. On November 30th (8am PST), Porterhouse will be releasing a new lithographic poster from Mark Ryden entitled Aurora. The stunning image is taken from a 9 feet tall painting that the Los Angeles-based artist has prepared for his upcoming show in New York and is his biggest piece to date.
