Faith47 is self releasing a collectible series of intimate books and screen prints. The first set is scheduled to be available for the solstice on 21st of June at via her new online store. The The Hidden Years zine is the first of the series, signed and numbered in an edition of 100, and includes a compilation of sketches from 2013 & 2014. Releases: Jeremy Geddes – “Ascent” Print

Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) recently announced the lottery for his newest print release set to drop next week. Entitled Ascent, the latest limited edition from the Australian artist will feature an image sized at 56cm wide and 56cm high (paper size 61cm x 64m). Highlighting one of Geddes’ most popular reoccurring characters, the gravity defying astronaut can be yours for $235 AUD if you are lucky and will come in a run of 250. Spanish artist Pejac whose diverse works we introduced recently (Art Focus), just announced a release of his limited edition print. The large image titled Sepukku is features a silhouette of a Japanese samurai, performing Seppuku or Hara-Kiri, a form of ritual suicide by disembowelment, by using a Sakura branch (cherry blossoms). Releases: Jeff Soto – “Seeker Friends Elements: Life” Print

Earlier this year, we introduced you to the Seeker Friends Elements series from Jeff Soto (interviewed). A continuation of his Seeker Friends prints, the set of nine total timed editions will have a new addition, Life, on Thursday at noon PST, and will be available for 24 hours until noon PST on Friday after which no more will be sold. Sized at 6″ x 6″ on sustainable plywood, the new print will be available for $30 at the aforementioned time at Prints On Wood. Discuss Jeff Soto here.

Openings: Dennis Morris – “Bob Marley: Giant” @ Known Gallery

Over the weekend, the Known Gallery in Los Angeles hosted the opening for an exhibition from Dennis Morris, a UK-based photographer especially known for his work in the music industry. This particular showing focuses on his iconic shots of Bob Marley, a seminal period of time in his young career when he toured with the Jamaican singer-songwriter.
