Ukrainian artists Waone & AEC from Interesni Kazki (interviewed) recently spent a few weeks in Western Australia, working on their murals for the local Form Festival in Perth (more coverage here). The artists were painting on separate walls of the same building in the Northbridge area, bringing a taste of their surrealist and meaningful work to the city. DALeast (interviewed) is currently globetrotting again, participating in festivals and different projects worldwide. He spent last few weeks on the west coast of Australia, taking part at the Public 2015 festival (more coverage here) in Perth. Working on a massive new project in Western Australia, Phlegm has painted over four 36 meter high grain silos near the Wheatbelt town of Northam for PUBLIC 2015, arranged by FORM. Working 10 hours a day for two weeks straight, the prolific British street artist left his mark with a series of impossible flying machines (inspired by the area’s iconic hot air balloons) and his signature characters rendered beautifully in his usual manner.
