After sharing with you Phelgm’s massive contribution to PUBLIC 2015, we now have news of another participant in this year’s event – Ian Strange, the artist formerly known as Kid Zoom. Continuing his series of large-scale interventions, the Australian artist will be presenting five photographic works as well as an immersive film and sound installation reflecting on suburban Perth. Like his previous projects, Strange has painted directly onto homes and hopes to “to create a body of work that transforms the Australian suburban home to unmask it’s darker underbelly.”

The work will premiere in a pop-up exhibition space at 381 Murray Street, Perth, on Friday 17 April, with the exhibition running until Saturday 9 May.
