Releases: Skullphone – “California Collection” Print Set

Poster Child Prints recently released some new limited editions from Skullphone as a three part print series. Created in runs of 100, Gold Foil Grid, West Covina and Locksmith are $125, $75, and $50 respectively and come signed and numbered. Releases: Daniel Arsham – “CRACKED BEAR”

CRACKED BEAR is the latest release from Daniel Arsham, a sculptural edition that invites the participation of the collector. Releases / Signings: Todd Schorr – “Neverlasting Miracles” @ KP Projects

Coming up on August 18th (5pm – 8pm), KP Projects in Los Angeles will be hosting the release and signing event ([email protected]) for Todd Schorr’s (featured) most comprehensive monograph to date – Neverlasting Miracles. Along with getting the locally-based artist’s autograph, attendees will be able to enjoy some new paintings in preparation for his upcoming exhibition at MOCA Virginia (opening September 21st) where this majestic 69” x 84” piece entitled No Solar Power For Fairyland can be seen. Releases: Joe Ledbetter // DC Collectibles – “Batman Characters”

This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, some new figures designed by Joe Ledbetter will be on view at the DC booth. As part of DC Collectibles Artist’s Alley line, the 7″ figures take on the American artist’s signature vector-inspired aesthetic with each character imagined as the animal they are named after (Batman as a bat, Catwoman as a cat, Robin as a bird, and the Penguin as a penguin). Releases: Luke Chueh – “Wannabe” Flocked Dunny

Continuing to create art figures, something his character-based work seems suited for, Luke Chueh (interviewed) recently released a 5 inch “Wannabe” Flocked Dunny. Reprising Kidrobot’s most iconic platform toy, the Los Angeles-based artist reworked the sculpt into a version of his famous “possessed” bear with knife. Mixing the cute with the macabre with Chueh’s signature dark humor, the dunny comes in a generous edition of 1500 and can be purchased here for $55. Discuss Luke Chueh here.

Releases: Parra x Nike Air Max 1 & Zoom Spiridon Collection

Over the last week or so, Parra started to reveal some new collaborations with Nike including his take on the Zoom Spiridon, & Air Max 1 (including a Friends and Family edition with the lateral swoosh removed and a matching tracksuit). Releases: Glenn Barr – “Otaku Print Set”

Currently available through July 10th, an “Otaku Print Set” featuring the work of Glenn Barr is available at 1xRUN. Compiling four 11 x 13″ prints together (Used Heroes, Godzilla’s Ghost, Astro Defiance, Monster Zero), the Detroit-based artist has created images that fanboys will instantly notice with characters like Astroboy, Ultraman, and Godzilla populating his surreal world.
