While in town for Basel Week Miami, one of the exhibitions we enjoyed the most was put on by the Library Street Collective near Wynwood Walls. Held at a popup location (217 NW 25th St.) in Wynwood Walls, the Library Street Collective show features a solid lineup of artists, many of which are associated with their program in Detroit. POW WOW ’14 & 1xRUN Prints & Show

The annual POW! WOW! art retreat in Hawaii starts this weekend and 1xRUN will be on site to work on a special show at Loft in Space / Fresh Cafe set to open on February 14th. They have also partnered with Pangea Seed, a local non profit, to exhibit prints from their archives and their new Sametan figure customized by over 30 artists. Expanding a little more on a project we recently featured on our Streets World Roundup where we shared with you a mural from SatOne, we now bring you some more photos from the Rockenberg Prison project. Organized by Draw A Line, other artist including ROIDS (seen above), HORFÉE, SCORE, KEN SORTAIS, FENCE were asked to paint the walls a prison near Frankfurt along with the help of some inmates. Streets: REVOK, RIME, ROIDS, POSE, and OMENS (Chicago)

As you know, REVOK, RIME, and ROID recently opened a fantastic new show Perseverance at the Known Gallery in Los Angeles (covered). The three writers were actually in Detroit prior to the show working on the paintings and incubating ideas. Apparently, they also found time to make a pit stop in Chicago to paint this wall before heading to California.
