Last week Julia Chiang opened her latest show in New York’s Half Gallery. This exhibition Security Is Mostly A Superstition featured a room size installation of hand crafted ceramic white chains measuring in length from five to thirty feet. The idea is to play with the notion that the laid out chains could be perceived to protect or restrain the sacred environment created by Julia. The show runs through May 2nd, so stop by if you can.
