A show that closed recently in San Francisco at White Walls, What the %$#@? (WTF) featured the acronym inspiring work of Dan Witz. The ongoing series of works consisted of his photorealistic renderings of people trapped behind grills, bars, and windows. Opening tonight at Clifton’s Brookdale in LA will be a tribute show for David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. The curation for this celebration of the early 90’s cult show is top notch as it includes many artists that we follow here on AM like Eric White, Stella Im Hultberg, Glenn Barr, and Tim Biskup, just to name a few. Get ready for the latest exhibition to hit SF’s Guerrero Gallery this Saturday. First is Ryan Wallace’s oddly titled (((Ω.))) show. The New York artist brings his signature works where the pieces literally curl off the canvas due to its unique Mylar layering. Opening tonight at Fecal Face Dot Gallery in San Francisco is Fish-Work, a showing of images from photographer and fisherman Corey Arnold. POW WOW ‘ 11 / Streets: Angry Woebots & Ekundayo

It looks like the POW WOW preparations are already underway in Hawaii as late addition Ekundayo and Aaron Martin (Angry Woebots) get up on the walls of the FreshCafe / Loft in Space venue. The space will house all the live-painting, starting on the 16th, and main event on the 19th so hopefully we’ll be seeing more murals soon. More pics after the jump…

“Art Machine” @ The Hole Gallery & ALIFE

This Thursday, The Hole Gallery will host a brand new type of exhibition. Collaborating with NY’s fashion collective ALIFE, they’ll be showcasing art & items from various artists in a unique manner. Through the use of vending Art Machines, attendees can purchase what they see via a credit card. Items will include mini paintings, sculptures, bearbricks, and G-Shock watches/apparel. For as little as $5 dollars for something cool, you should plan on getting there early as sales are first come first serve.
