WK Interact recently launched his latest publication entitled WK/Act 4. This book houses works from 1989 to the present day and spans 25 years of the French born/Brooklyn based artist’s storied career. To mark this occasion, WK worked in partnership with KLINIK for a pop up exhibition at The Garage in New York City. Setup: Project M/6 (Berlin) – Part I

Urban Nation recently kicked off the next phase of their ongoing art program with a new roster of artists curated by Jonathan LeVine Gallery. One aspect of the event features artists who create window installations in Berlin and the ones invited this time did just that. Take a look at some in progress photos as Dan Witz, Jeff Soto, Nychos, Olek and Saner created their 10′ x 10′ pieces destined for the windows of the building as well as works for the group show. At the end of last month, the Library Street Collective hosted the opening of Dave Kinsey’s (featured) new show entitled Cushion of Memory. Moving somewhat away from the distorted human faces and forms as well as his signature palette anchored in reds, the artist based in the mountains north of Los Angeles has created a triumphant new body of works. Once again employing methods unique to him in street art game, Vhils (filmed) recently finished this piece for the Urban Forms Gallery public works series in Lodz, Poland. Featuring some of the foliage that has been seen recently in his urban portraiture, the chiseled wall leaves a lasting mark on the city that won’t be soon forgotten. On the 10th of October, Ruttkowski;68 in Cologne, Germany opened a new solo show by American artist, Andrew Schoultz. Titled Broken Order, this show includes all new works which introduce a slight new direction for the artist. Aside from his familiar illustrative elements and signature imagery, the new paintings include geo and op art objects, which was further emphasized through a specific install painted in the gallery space. Leonard McGurr, better known as Futura, recently opened a show at Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow, exactly 30 years since his first visit to the Soviet Union. Back in 1984, the artist was photographed breakdancing on Moscow’s Red Square, which was a symbolic act during tense Cold War times.
