Rules of Engagement, a joint show from Mark Jenkins (interviewed) and Rero, is currently on view at Wunderkammern and will run until October 28th. Previews: Andy Kehoe – “PRISMATIC” @ Thinkspace Gallery

Tonight (September 30th) at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, Andy Kehoe will be opening a solo show entitled PRISMATIC. The new mystical paintings continue the Pittsburgh-based artist’s expansion of his fantastical world filled with mysterious antlered creatures often set against the background of luminous and polychromatic skies. Kehoe’s technique of combining resin with oil paint gives the work a dimensionality that adds to the richness and texture of his compositions.
