Previews: Eric Haze – “360°” @ 16 Shibuya

Later tonight in Tokyo, Eric Haze (featured) will be opening a show at 16 Shibuya entitled 360°. Put on with support from HUF, the exhibition from the New York-based artist will include 10 new paintings and a series of archival design works from current and past collaborations with the streetwear company. Still rocking his iconic stars and arrows, the renowned graffiti and designer will also be creating an installation for the event. Discuss Eric Haze here.

Tomorrow (November 30th) is the public opening of Ethereal at Goldman Global Arts in Miami, Vhils’ (interviewed) latest solo show. Timed perfectly to coincide with this year’s Basel Week Miami, the debut solo exhibition for the gallery inside The Wynwood Walls will highlight the Portuguese artist’s unique mark-making as well as his skills with multiple techniques and mediums. While in Paris, you may want to pay more attention while riding the public transport as JR (interviewed) has installed his work in 11 metro and RER stations. On view through February 10, the project from the anonymous artist will be updated intermittently with his iconic black & white photography, coinciding with his current show at Maison Européenne de la Photographie (more on this later). Miguel Ángel Belinchón aka Belin just announced a new, self-produced release of a print created from the Mona Lisa painting included in his solo exhibition in Paris last year (covered). The new limited edition will be available as a 72 hour timed release, from Thursday, Nov. 22, 1 P.M. to Sunday, Nov. 25, 1 P.M. CET time. With the public opening of the heavily anticipated exhibition from KAWS set for tomorrow in NYC, here is a first look at what will be on display at Skarstedt Gallery.
