Pejac will be releasing a new limited edition on Friday 14th at 6PM CEST (12PM EDT) via his official website. Scattercrow is a lithograph featuring one of his earlier images (first painted back in 2010). For this release, the Barcelona-based artist picked the old-fashioned process of lithograph stone printing in order to achieve an as direct and as unchanged of a image reproduction. Not long after closing his successful solo show in Paris (covered), and prior to starting working on upcoming solo shows in Asia and US, Belin had the opportunity to paint a new mural in Torredonjimeno, near his hometown of Linares in Andalucia, Spain. On June 15th & 16th, Askew One visited Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in a project organized by Galartis auction house and the MyFinBec creative platform. During those two days, the New Zealand-based artist painted a 3 x 2 meter mural on 84 wood wine cases at the showroom for the street art auction that took place June 22. Currently at the The Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium, Slinkachu has some works on view as part of a new group show Manufactories of Caring Space-Time. Not only does the UK-based artist have his signature miniatures on view that are part of the museum’s permanent collection inside but also has some installations outdoors as is his practice. John Andrew Perello aka JonOne or Jon156, recently teamed up with PrintThemAll.com and Idem Studio in Paris to produce his latest limited edition. Last weekend, Library Street Collective opened a new solo from Faile (featured) entitled The Size of the Fight, the duo’s first show in Detroit. Along with originals, prints, and sculptural works, one of the walls featured a mural from the Patrick’s as they took inspiration from the Motor City’s revival in the last several years. The Brooklyn-based artists also unveiled five large-scale painted, stenciled, and silkscreened works on wood panels in the adjacent alleyway aka “The Belt,” the gallery’s public exhibition space (more on this later).
