Back in June, we brought you photos of the medusa head that Blu painted for the CityLeaks Festival in Germany. Now pictures have surfaced of the beautiful new mural that the Brazilian street surrealist Ethos gifted Cologne for his part of the event. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, WK Interact will be collaborating with New York City firefighters on Project Brave, a mural that will be located on Kent Avenue (between North 4th & North 5th Streets). Featuring his signature in-motion creations, the large 328 foot mural will feature iconic imagery from the tragic attack and will be on view from September 11 – October 11. Discuss WK Interact here.
Tucson will be getting a dose of the New Contemporary Art Movement tomorrow, September 8th, when Impetus opens at the University of Arizona School of Art. The group show will be curated by Thinkspace and be held at the the Joseph Gross Gallery.
