A couple weekends ago, D*Face (interviewed) headed to Los Angeles to present his newest body of work at Corey Helford Gallery. Entitled Happy Never Ending, the exhibition featured paintings, sculptures, hand painted multiples, various limited editions, hand-painted book covers, a tombstone installation, as well as associated street murals. Later this month, Ai Weiwei will be opening an ambitious project in New York where he will be creating site specific works as well as a series of 200 banners that will be placed on lampposts in all five boroughs. This Saturday night (October 7th) in Los Angeles, Cordessa Fine Art will be presenting a new body of work from Kevin E. Taylor. Entitled Dead Evidence, the recently produced paintings are loosely adapted from Larry Sultan and Mike Mandel’s photo series Evidence.
