A pretty big show that seems to have been flying under the radar is KAWS’ upcoming show this month in Spain. Galería Javier López will be paying host to a new body of work from the New York-based street turned contemporary artist with the opening set for February 17th. One of the most exciting galleries showing emerging art talent in Culver City, David Kordansky Gallery had a colorful and visually stunning booth at Art Los Angeles Contemporary that contained a mixture of mediums, including painting, sculpture, and photography. You may recall a project we told you about recently between Kehinde Wiley and PUMA for the World Cup this year. If you remember, the exhibition of paintings Kehinde created of three African soccer stars as well as a portrait with all three together representing the unity of Africa traveled to Berlin for an official unveiling.
