Tomorrow, September 30th, the people of Brazil will be treated to a special exhibition timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the São Paulo Biennial. Over 200 works by giants of the Contemporary Art world like Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, and Damien Hirst will be paired with a newer generation of artists including Nate Lowman, Dan Colen, and Aaron Young, some of which will the first time for these artists in the South American country. The collection of pieces to be on display, entitled collectively as In the Name of the Artists, will be housed in the São Paulo Biennial Pavilion and is made possible by sponsorship from IGUATEMI with the works on loan from the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo.
